How It’s Made
The process begins with responsibly sourced wood from authorized suppliers.
The wood is dried and seasoned over time, allowing moisture to reduce naturally. Depending on conditions, this can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks.
Each piece is then cut, shaped, and turned on a lathe by hand. Once the form is achieved, it is carefully sanded until smooth and safe for handling.
Color is applied using solid color sticks made from natural pigments and shellac. As the toy spins, friction generates heat, allowing the color to transfer and bind to the wood.
The toy is then finished with beeswax and coconut oil, and left to settle before final inspection.
